David is an amateur artist and active member of Romsey Art Group. He uses mainly oils but can produce work in pastels, watercolours and pen and ink. Davids likes to paint a range of subjects but tends to prefer maritime work, especially old sailing ships of the Nelson period. David admires the work of Montague Dawson and John Chancellor, two artists who produced high quality marine art.
David has exhibited at the Romsey Art Group exhibitions, King John House Romsey as part of the Hampshire Open Studios and the Southampton City Art Gallery as part of the Titanic Centenary.’Click to book a free ticket
